Comments: I had a mini gastric bypass done by Dr Murat Ustan in 12/10/2019, and I was well enough to be discharged on 14/10/2019! The surgery was a success, and I now get to look forward to the weight loss being a huge success. Dr Ustan has saved my life. I was sure that without it, I wouldn’t reach the age of 30 (I am 28 now). Already my life has improved dramatically and I’ll never be able to thank him and his team enough.

The hospital is immaculate, the staff there are attentive and rapidly respond to any issues that may arise (I had a leak in my drain site which meant it was bleeding through my bandage, upon telling the staff they were there within 2 minutes to redress and stop the bleeding). For us Brits, the staff at the hospital do speak some basic English which is enough to get you by during your stay. Dr Ustan and his team, however, speak impeccable English and will resolve any problem or complication immediately. Demet was a god-send to me & my mother and was my first point of contact for anything I needed to know or need assistance with. She would ensure that whatever it was resolved in no time. She even travelled out of her home late at night to see me & resolve a small issue I had at the hotel.

The package price was value for money, a quarter of the price I would have had to pay here in the UK, and the service I received was infinitely better, so all round I made the right decision travelling to Dr Murat & his team in Istanbul.
